Cancun
Cancún is located in Quintana Roo in the Southeast region of Mexico, in the North point of the Yucatán Peninsula, at the North of the Mayan Riviera. It is an island of approximately 25 kilometers long and 400 meters wide, and it is connected to firm land through bridges.
This great city in Quintana Roo is divided in 2 equal parts: Cancun's center, where a great part of the inhabitants live, and many small hotels, restaurants and stores can be found. The other zone of the city it is the world famous Cancun’s Zona Hotelera (Hotel Zone), where the luxury hotels are located, as well as modern malls.

Riviera Maya
The Riviera Maya (Mayan Riviera) spreads along 140 kilometers of the territory on the Mexican Caribbean shoreline on the East of Yucatan’s Peninsula. The Mayan Riviera ends in Carrillo Puerto, a beautiful town that mixes colonial remains with Mayan traditions.
Playa del Carmen, also known as “Playa”, is the most famous place of the Mayan Riviera. It is located in front of Cozumel, and has won its international fame in only 10 years, thanks to its bohemian nights, along with its white sand typical of the Caribbean, that draw visitors form all over the world.
